How PHM helped Larry regain his pain-free retirement.
Larry was happily living aboard a sailboat, enjoying retirement, until he woke up one day with pain in his lower back. The pain quickly moved into his leg and progressed to the point that moving or standing was difficult.
Over the next couple of months, Larry saw multiple doctors and specialists, but none offered a diagnosis or effective treatment. Larry was becoming resigned to abandoning his retirement plans until a family member told him about PHM.

Dr. Simon found what he thought to be the culprit – a spasm on one of Larry’s neck muscles that was connected to a group of nerves further down the spine. A diagnostic anesthetic epidural confirmed Dr. Simon’s hypothesis that the issue was in the two lowest vertebrae in the spine. The shot offered Larry instant relief, bringing him to tears. For the first time in a year, the pain was gone.

His team lined up one of the best back surgeons in Los Angeles to operate and fast-tracked his surgery. Larry’s team also expedited imaging, preliminary appointments and workups, and diagnostics.
