After a 52-year-old man’s colorectal cancer spread, he was initially treated for localized disease with surgical resection and chemotherapy. When he later developed metastatic disease, he contacted Private Health Management for help creating a comprehensive treatment plan to treat his disease.

When follow-up scans showed possible remaining cancer, the team reached out to a top Nuclear Medicine expert in Germany to explore a new treatment: FAP peptide-targeted radioligand therapy, which delivers radiation directly to cancer cells.
Specialized imaging confirmed that cancer had spread to his lymph nodes, liver, and spleen. He began FAP-Y90 therapy, which helped ease his hip pain and improved his movement. Another follow-up scan showed a strong response, so he continued with a more powerful combination of FAP therapy.
Outcome
