He is Professor Emeritus of Emergency Medicine at Rush University Medical Center and was formerly the Executive Chair of Emergency Medicine for Cook County Hospitals and Rush Medical Center. Dr. Simon is the Founder and Chair of the board of the International Medical Corps.

Tracy Arsenault is a Managing Clinical Director at Private Health Management, where she leads a clinical unit focused on clients with serious and complex medical conditions. Tracy supports clients with multiple medical conditions and is instrumental in developing and implementing complex treatment plans designed to achieve optimal outcomes. With more than 14 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, she has specialized in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery. Her background includes extensive work as a Clinical Research Associate in endocrinology and nuclear medicine at prestigious institutions like Memorial Sloan Kettering and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Tracy is a licensed Physician Assistant in California, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and holds dual Master degrees in Exercise Physiology and Physician Assistant Studies.

Christina Celestino is a Clinical Director at Private Health Management, providing comprehensive case management and clinical guidance. She specializes in pediatric and adult oncology, gynecologic oncology, medical-surgical care, and addiction medicine. With more than 12 years of nursing experience, Christina previously worked in addiction medicine at Community Medical Services and served as Lead Nurse Practitioner in the gynecologic oncology division at Arizona Center for Cancer Care. Christina earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University.

Amanda Chapman is an Associate Clinical Director at Private Health Management, bringing more than 18 years of clinical experience in general surgery and surgical oncology. She has provided surgical consultations, first assisting, and postoperative care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, treating patients with benign and cancerous conditions. She also recently worked in digital healthcare and telehealth, focusing on cancer survivorship care and healthcare navigation. Board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Amanda holds a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from Northern Arizona University. Mary Beth Coffin is a Clinical Director at Private Health Management, where she provides comprehensive case management and clinical guidance for complex cases. With more than 15 years of experience in direct patient care, Mary Beth previously worked in hematology-oncology at National Jewish Health in Denver, CO. There, she managed chemotherapy side effects, cancer surveillance, prevention, clinical trials, and benign hematology. She also brings surgical oncology experience with 21st Century Oncology in Miami, FL, handling various aspects of care, including surgery and post-operative management. Mary Beth is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology. She holds Master of Clinical Medical Science and Physician Assistant degrees from Barry University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University in Chicago.

Carrie Davis is the Senior Vice President of Individual Health Solutions at Private Health Management. In her role, she leads business development and client delivery, overseeing a team of Advanced Practice Clinicians and logistical support staff to implement PHM’s healthcare solutions. Carrie brings nearly two decades of advanced practice clinical experience in internal medicine, general surgery, and pulmonary and lung cancer diagnosis. Prior to joining PHM, Carrie worked as a Nurse Practitioner for Interventional Pulmonary and Bronchoscopy at Beth Israel Medical Center, managing complex pulmonary conditions such as interstitial lung disease, asthma, and COPD, and performing specialized procedures like lung biopsies. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park. 

Abbey Dean is a Clinical Director at Private Health Management, providing comprehensive care and case management to clients and their families. At the height of the pandemic, she also contributed to PHM’s COVID-19 Comprehensive Care Services team. With more than seven years of clinical experience in acute care, cardiology, and family medicine, Abbey is a dedicated clinician with a strong background in managing complex medical cases. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), ANCC, and Florida Nurse Practitioner Network (FNPN). Andrea Grace is a Clinical Director at Private Health Management specializing in hematology and medical oncology. With more than 18 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, Andrea has practiced at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and was part of the oncology program at Swedish Medical Center in Denver. Elizabeth Grevengoed is a Clinical Director at Private Health Management with more than a decade of experience caring for hematology and oncology patients in outpatient and inpatient settings. Previously, she worked at National Jewish Health in Denver, where she gained a deep understanding of the complex needs of cancer care, emphasizing a holistic approach to treating patients.  She brings a strong passion for science and research, having been published in several prestigious journals, including Nature Cell Biology and the Journal of Cell Biology. Her nursing career began in New York City and Denver hospitals, focusing on intensive care. Amber works hard to ensure optimal outcomes for oncology clients by leveraging relationships with top experts and knowledge of novel treatment targets. Before joining PHM, Amber provided hands-on patient care at Mount Sinai Hospital in general surgery, specializing in laparoscopic, robotic, and bariatric surgery, and managing post-operative complications and advanced diagnostics. Jennifer Peña is the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services at Private Health Management. She leads Clinical Quality and Excellence for Health Solutions for Individuals and Families, as well as for Business. Jennifer oversees a team of advanced practice clinicians, client service coordinators, and medical record specialists to ensure optimal diagnoses and treatment paths. She brings more than 25 years of nursing and advanced practice experience, including expertise in trauma, critical care, medical-surgical, occupational health, and organ transplant. As a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, she has demonstrated that integrative collaboration across specialties enhances patient care and outcomes. Before joining PHM, she was the Lead Nurse Practitioner at Keck Medical Center of USC’s Abdominal Transplant Program, specializing in liver transplants and hepatocellular carcinoma, where she managed complex cases and contributed to clinical research. Jennifer is licensed in California and board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Science in Nursing from UCLA and was on the dean’s list at California State University, Los Angeles. 

Jenna Sasser is an Associate Clinical Director at Private Health Management known for developing personalized care plans and integrating innovative technologies to ensure optimal client outcomes. With nine years of experience across diverse healthcare settings, Jenna began her career in the Trauma and General Surgical ICU. She spent the last seven years at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Cardiac Surgical ICU and on the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant team. Before her Physician Assistant career, she worked as a Behavioral and Developmental Therapist and is a graduate of the Duke School of Medicine.

Iliriana Sela is a Clinical Director at Private Health Management. Specializing in neurologic and autoimmune disorders, Iliriana excels in diagnosing intricate conditions and employing a multidisciplinary approach to help clients navigate chronic disorders.  Iliriana brings more than 19 years of experience in clinical and administrative roles in inpatient and outpatient settings. Her strong background in the emergency department allows her to deliver comprehensive care for a wide range of illnesses. Erika Sharpe is a Managing Clinical Director at Private Health Management. Erika oversees clinical quality, collaborating with the Client Success and Operations teams to enhance client care initiatives. She focuses on cancer care navigation and precision oncology, as a case clinician for clients with varied healthcare needs. With more than a decade of experience, Erika began her career as a primary care provider in Manhattan, specializing in internal medicine and managing complex diagnoses. A board-certified Nurse Practitioner, she earned a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, where she also served as a clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students. Katelyn Smith leads the Corporate Service Delivery clinical team at Private Health Management, providing comprehensive clinical care and case management support for individuals, families, and employers. With more than 15 years of clinical experience in neurological surgery and wound care settings, she is a board-certified Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. Before joining PHM, Katelyn worked in the Neurosurgery department at Weill Cornell Medical Center. She also served as a Wound Care Specialist at Akron General Medical Center, where she managed acute and chronic wounds and implemented educational programs that reduced hospital-acquired pressure ulcers. Lotfi Abou-Elkacem is a Research Director at Private Health Management, with more than eight years of experience in clinical development and translational research. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University and a Scientific Manager at MD Anderson. Lotfi specializes in biomarker identification, antibody-drug conjugates, and molecular imaging, including innovative ultrasound contrast agents. His work pioneered a novel ultrasound-guided technique to treat drug-resistant liver cancer by co-delivering therapeutic microRNAs. He has contributed to breast and pancreatic cancer clinical trials and published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles. Lotfi earned his PhD in biomedical science from RWTH Aachen University in Germany.

Sheley Baylon is a Senior Research Director and Head of Pharmacology at Private Health Management. Committed to helping clients make informed health decisions, Sheley reviews medical literature to create client-friendly reports. She is a licensed Doctor of Pharmacy with 12 years of experience in pharmacy and laboratory research. Previously, she worked at Loma Linda University Medical Center, advising patients on chemotherapy regimens and investigational medications.

Bria Cuffy is a Senior Research Associate at Private Health Management. Leveraging the latest therapeutic advancements. Bria helps clients develop precision medicine strategies to fight complex medical conditions. Prior to that, she worked as an Epidemiology Research Assistant at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, studying the prevalence of frequent emergency department users and conducting policy evaluations using large datasets. Bria also provided patient care support for the hematology-oncology unit, facilitating communication between medical professionals and patients. Earlier in her career, she was a Biology Research Assistant at Pace University, researching human T-cell leukemia viruses and luciferase expression in infected cells. Eva brings more than 20 years of experience in leading clinical research within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and non-profit organizations, focusing on cancer and immunology. Previously, Eva was the Director of Clinical Research at the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, where she led studies on the causes of breast cancer, including the role of viruses and bacteria. She also developed cancer drug discovery technologies at Infinity Pharmaceuticals and researched immune evasion mechanisms as a Damon Runyon-Walter Winchell Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Megan Graham is the Vice President of Research Operations at Private Health Management. A dedicated healthcare professional, Megan leads a team of multidisciplinary PhD and MS-level research scientists at PHM. Her department plays a vital role in evaluating therapeutic advancements and utilizing cutting-edge precision diagnostics, identifying treatment opportunities for diverse client populations. An expert in child development, Megan previously served as a Certified Child Life Specialist at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. There, she provided crucial psychosocial support to hospitalized patients and their families through procedural preparation, education on new diagnoses, therapeutic play, and end-of-life care. She holds dual Master of Science degrees in Neuroscience and Neuroimaging from the University of Nottingham, where she researched developmental cognitive control using electroencephalography (EEG).

Ross Keller is a Research Director at Private Health Management, specializing in cancer biology, focusing on cancer genomics and tumor evolution. Throughout his career, he has utilized cancer models to identify vulnerabilities, aiming to enhance existing translational medicine approaches. Before joining PHM, Ross was a Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. There, he studied brain cancer and developed novel treatment regimens using genetically engineered models to mimic human disease. His graduate studies focused on tumor evolution, investigating how environmental radiation exposure can lead to mutations in breast cancer. His work also assessed the impact of targeted treatment regimens on tumor regression and relapse. Ross earned his PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Pennsylvania State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry from St. Olaf College.

Pat Knox is an Associate Research Director at Private Health Management. He brings more than eight years of experience as a clinician-scientist focused on chronic pain mechanisms in aging populations. Pat’s research at Emory University explored pain neurophysiology and brain signatures related to altered pain perception. His graduate work culminated in a dissertation on psychosocial and physiological factors affecting chronic low back pain in older adults. This groundbreaking research led to a novel pain outcome measure. He holds a PhD in Biomechanics and Movement Science, a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina.

Mariangela Nikolakopoulou is an Associate Research Director at Private Health Management. Her work focuses on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Multiple Sclerosis, as well as traumatic brain injury and stroke. At PHM, she identifies and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic options to meet clients’ unmet needs. With more than 20 years of expertise in neurosciences, Mariangela previously worked as the Principal Investigator at Bionaut Labs. While there, she established a neuroscience laboratory and directed research on medical nanodevices and gene therapies. As an Assistant Professor at USC, she studied the molecular mechanisms of vascular dysfunction in neurological conditions. Mariangela holds a PhD in Neurosciences from Open University in the UK and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Crete.

Jimmy Ou is a Senior Research Director at Private Health Management. With more than 20 years of experience in biomedical research, Jimmy specializes in targeted cancer therapeutics and neurological disorders. Before joining PHM, Jimmy was a senior scientist at Astellas Pharma, leading pre-clinical and clinical oncology drug development projects. David D. Parker is a Senior Research Director at Private Health Management . He focuses on identifying the latest treatment options for clients with advanced or metastatic cancer, prioritizing clear communication to help clients navigate their choices and access cutting-edge healthcare. David brings more than ten years of biomedical research experience specializing in oncology, cell reprogramming, and preclinical drug testing. His graduate research on the molecular mechanisms of embryonic development and cancer progression has deepened his understanding of these complex diseases. Additionally, he has served as a Teaching Assistant for biochemistry courses, effectively communicating complex scientific concepts in an easily digestible format. Brianna Cicconi is an Associate Manager of the Cancer Care Client Services Coordinators at Private Health Management. Known for her quick problem-solving and initiative, Brianna previously served as a Care Coordinator for the Hematologic Malignancy Service in Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
